Bitter cold, freezing rain, and constant frost?

Winter has us firmly in its grip right now.

Today, we want to show you how our new production hall maintains a pleasant working climate, even when it’s -12 °C outside!
Through concrete core activation!
Similar to underfloor heating in a private home, many meters of pipe are laid in the lower third of our floor slab (in our case, over 7 km). These pipes are then operated at a low flow temperature. The large surface area and mass of the concrete slab ensure even heat distribution throughout the entire hall so our employees never have to work in the cold.

A modern large heat pump generates the heat for the flow in our new hall and is supplied with self-generated PV electricity as far as possible.
